Cape Customs had the opportunity to work with the most talented design team BYMR to assist with the joinery of this bespoke project.
Our task was to create new walls finished in Oak, dividing the restaurant into two- Foxcroft & Little Fox. The walls have hidden clock cupboards and niche nocks for décor displays.
The bespoke suspended swirly whirly bulkhead light up with Architectural lighting over the fine dining area of Foxcroft.
Transforming the His &Hers bathroom with beautiful Oak cladding, trim, floating shelves and dividers.
Custom cabinets for waiter stations, storage and Maître D satiation.
The bar with Oak shelves and integrated LED architectural lighting.
Any Challenges Worth Noting:
The swirly whirley had its challenges. We had to suspend our structures off the rafters of the building. Ensuring the design of the structures kept the perfect layout and finish.
The fabric had to be semitransparent for the architectural lighting to pass through but still keep a perfect look n feel.
The building is a heritage site, so we had to be mindful of fixings as well as walls not being plum. There were rafters & beams that we had to clad around and consider with each wall and the shelving displays.
