Fabrication & Materials Used:
- Structure: Built from MDF, with a fill, sand, and roller paint finish, including a custom ribbon prepped for grey back vinyl print and application.
- Cabinets: Constructed from MDF with a two-tone satin spray finish, featuring lockable compartments and floating shelves.
- Lightbox: MDF construction with satin spray finish, Opal inlay, and a fascia panel with vinyl.
- Signage: Backing panel made from foam board, enhanced with lighting for added visual impact.
Significance:
The stand was designed to be easily modified to accommodate different Medacta subsidiaries, featuring adaptable new signage and an updated color scheme.
Challenges Worth Noting:
The project required a rebuild, with the main challenge being the modification of the stand to suit various subsidiaries while maintaining cohesive design elements across all iterations.
